Nishad Yusuf was born on 09 February 1981 in Kerela. At the beginning he started his career as an editor at AsiaNet News channel, later he shifted his focus towards films. He mostly worked in Malayalam and Tamil films. Kerela State Film Award for Best Editor-2022 was also awarded to him for his highly professional editing skills in movie Thallumaala. He significantly contributed to many Tamil and Malayalam films. He also worked on several other movies like-Unda, One, Saudi Vellakka, and Adios Amigos. Recently, Nishad had been working in Kanguva and Naslen K. Gafoor movie.
Nishad Yusuf’s unexpected death has given severe blow to the Malayalam and Tamil cinema as he had been contributing a lot to Malayalam and Tamil films. He was found died on 30 October 2024 at his apartment in Kochi, Kerala, India. At the time of death, he was 43 years, 08 months and 22 days old.
